Snagajob’s Hourly Gig contest is back for its second year and Richmond band Everwilde is one of the five finalists.

Musicians who are hourly employees and job seekers were invited to submit videos of their work to win the chance to open for the Montgomery Gentry concert at Innsbrook After Hours on Sept. 19, 2013.

They practice in an upstairs bedroom at bass player Jimmy Crenshaw’s Chesterfield County home. They don’t travel with an entourage in a fancy tour bus. They don’t have a lucrative recording contract, and they won’t release their first CD until April.

What the four members of Everwilde have – and what they hope will carry them to success in an ultra-competitive industry – is passion for making country music.
